Map Reveals Cities With Largest Surges in Home Listing Prices

Three of the five U.S. cities with the largest year-over-year home price increases in February were in the Midwest, led by Cincinnati with a 4.3% rise. Kansas City and Pittsburgh also saw 4.3% gains. The Midwest was the only region with a year-over-year price increase, up 0.2%, due to affordability and limited inventory. Nationwide, active listings rose 7.9%, slowing home price growth amid economic uncertainty and rising mortgage rates.
